Nifa Overseas is a manufacturer and exporter of handmade metal bells based in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India. We make one thing, and we make it well: bells.
Every bell is cut from iron sheet, hammered into shape, coated, fired and tuned by an artisan. The golden finish is fused into the metal by fire, not painted on, so it keeps its rustic glow for years. No two bells look or sound exactly the same.

Our Craft · The Rasaai Finish
From Iron Sheet to Singing Bell
Our bells follow a traditional Indian technique, known as the copper-coated iron bells of Kutch and practiced by Lohar artisan families for generations. We call it the Rasaai process.

Step 01
Forging the Body
Iron sheet is hammered into a bell shape by hand. No welding.

Metal Blend Coating
The bell is wrapped in clay mixed with brass and copper powder.

Kiln Firing
Fired in a charcoal kiln so the brass and copper fuse into the iron.

Cooling & Finishing
The mud crust is cracked off to reveal a golden-bronze, rust-resistant finish.

Hand Tuning
The artisan shapes the bell with a hammer and tunes it by ear.
Not paint. Not plating. The Rasaai finish is fused into the metal by fire, so it does not chip or peel like paint. Small differences in color, texture and tone are the signature of a handmade bell.

What does Nifa Overseas make?
We specialise in handmade metal bells: rustic cow bells, Christmas bells, harmony and hanging bells, bell wind chimes, vintage bells, and custom or private-label bells. Through our brand Highbix we also offer other handmade metal décor and collectibles, such as decorative helmets, masks and armour replicas.
Do you sell wholesale to US buyers?
Yes. We are a B2B manufacturer and exporter. We supply importers, wholesalers and retailers in the USA, Europe and worldwide.
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
MOQ depends on the design and level of customization. Low MOQ is available on suitable designs, so you can start with a trial order.
What is the Rasaai finish? Is it paint?
No. Rasaai is a traditional process where clay mixed with brass and copper powder is fired onto the iron bell in a kiln. The metal fuses into the surface, so the finish does not chip or peel like paint.
Can you make my own design or put my logo on the bells?
Yes. Send a photo, sketch or sample. Size, pattern, finish, logo branding, labels and private-label packaging can be discussed for suitable quantities.
How long does a bulk order take?
About 3–4 weeks for standard bulk orders, plus shipping time. We confirm the timeline for every order.
How do you ship to the USA and Europe?
By air freight, sea freight or international courier, depending on volume and urgency. We arrange the export documents; the shipping terms are agreed before production.
Can I get a sample before ordering?
Samples can be made where possible. Sample charges, if any, are agreed in advance.
Why does each bell look and sound a little different?
Each bell is shaped, fired and tuned by hand, so color, texture and tone vary slightly. That variation is the mark of handmade work, not a defect.
